1 Chicken Shawarma Pita’s **PREP - Marinade**
Add the liquid (vinegar and lemon juice) and the spices to the chicken bag and let marinade for at least 30 min- 4 hours. Add 1 T. of oil to a skillet on medium high heat. Add Chicken in one layer and cook for 4-5 min. Reduce heat to medium, flip and cook for 3-5 min. until done. Remove and let rest 5 min. Slice. You can also lay it on a foil lined baking sheet and broil for 5-7 minutes each side. Wash lettuce, slice. Wash tomato, dice. Peel and slice cucumbers. I like to heat my pitas in the oven at 400 for 2-3 min. or until warm. Layer sauce, chicken, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce onto half the pita. Fold in half. Serve.
