Thai Basil Beef

Thai Basil Beef

Whisk the cornstarch into the sauce. In a large skillet on medium high heat add 1 T. of oil. When hot, add the ground beef. Flatten the beef and cook on each side for 4-5 minutes without stirring, letting it sear on both sides. Then crumble the beef and push to the side. It will not be cooked through yet. Add the onions, peppers, snap peas, and as much jalapenos as you would like. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Stir in sauce and cook until thickened and the veggies are softened. Wash Basil. Rough chop and add in basil. Stir. Serve over steamed rice.
